Working With Hutchinson Builders To Improve Safety - May 2023 Wk 3

Posted by Ed Tancred | May 17, 2023 6:06:24 PM

We collaborate closely with our partners and their site safety teams to enhance the clarity and speed of medical and evacuation emergency communication with a streamlined and efficient broadcast approach.

This is what we've been up to with Hutchinson Builders.

Site Visit - Eve Residences Southport

This week we visited the team in Southport, who are using more than 20 of our combined nurse call trigger + evacuation siren devices across the site (as pictured below).

Daniel Briggs - the site's Health Safety Environment Officer - invited us to attend one of the regular evacuation drills as pictured above. We look forward to seeing how this 25-storey luxury tower develops, with what we hear will offer one of the best views of the Broadwater, South Stradbroke Island, and the famous Surfers Paradise skyline. Safety Wall

Hutchinson Builders is one of our esteemed partners known for their utmost professionalism and commitment to safety. The safety wall they have created (pictured at the top of this blog) is truly remarkable and serves as a testament to their dedication.

Pictured next to it is one of our combined nurse call trigger + evacuation sirens. Weighing approximately 500g, they are extremely easy to move, monitor, and manage, explaining why it's become one of our best sellers. They use a proprietary Vanguard Wireless network means it can be installed in minutes. To learn more about the combined devices, click HERE.

On Site Induction - Allere Towers

Last week we also ran an induction for the safety team working on Allere Towers. They're also using our combined nurse call trigger + evacuation siren devices. Workers can trigger a nurse call alert by pressing the silver CALL button on any device. Nominated personnel then receive the alert via the control panel or smartphone app. Nominated personnel can also trigger a site evacuation via the control panel or smartphone app, which will cause all sirens to sound. To learn more about the combined devices click HERE.

We also supplied the team with co branded posters for toolbox talks and worker inductions. These are also displayed next to every device.

The entire West Village development looks fantastic - a perfect mix of heritage spaces and new spaces that deliver an abundance of natural light. To learn more about the project click HERE

Wearable Nurse Call Triggers

NEW Product Launch - Wearable Nurse Call Triggers

Protect workers - particularly lone workers such as crane operators - with our wearable nurse call triggers. With the press of a button a worker can trigger an alert, which communicates with the system via the closest Vanguard Wireless trigger or smartphone app. Management will see who has triggered their wearable and the location information.

Each wearable comes with a wristband and a pendant that can be worn around the neck using the lanyard provided or attached to any existing pocket clip, lapel pin, or ID card holder.

Available now for all iOS users (Android version coming soon).
