Evacuation and Nurse Call Systems Perfect For These High Risk Sites

Posted by Ed Tancred | Jul 20, 2023 11:00:30 AM

Vanguard Wireless systems are chosen for mining, energy, railway, and other civil works projects for a few reasons:

  • our radio frequency and cellular networking device options ensure 100% coverage on EVERY site
  • the battery powered devices can be installed anywhere, with real time reporting on power and connectivity to the system
  • our smartphone app covers remote and lone workers, and can be used in combination with our wearable nurse call triggers

Here's four of the 600+ projects our systems are installed on:

Silver Lake Mining Camp

This bespoke system design protects workers at the camp AND the mine 5km away using the same system. The solution is a combination of RF and cellular networked devices. Safety teams manage the entire system from the smartphone app and user portal.

CPB & John Holland WestConnex

This $16B road infrastructure project in Sydney uses our combined nurse call trigger + evacuation sirens, then quickly relocated as the site evolved.  Discover more about how the combined devices protect workers with its dual functionality HERE.

Martinus Rail Intermodal Terminal

Martinus selected to install 30 of our combined nurse call trigger + evacuation sirens across the $140M project. Workers were protected as they undertook pavement works, earthworks, stormwater drainage, track works, signalling, CCTV systems, communications, and HV service relocations and distribution.

Dyno Nobel Mt Keith Nickel Mine

Dyno Nobel workers operate in high risk environments, delivering groundbreaking results with their commercial explosives. Worker safety is at the forefront of their operations and they choose Vanguard Wireless to support their objectives.

Our evacuation and nurse call systems are also installed at power stations and sub stations, construction and refurbishment projects, factories, manufacturing plants, and solar farms.
